How To Refer
As a general practitioner, you have three options to refer your patient to Dr Robinson for consultation:

If you have a question about your patient, or would like general orthopaedic guidance, please call Dr Robinson's rooms on (03) 9969 1246 and ask to speak with him directly.
Dr Robinson will triage your referral within 24 hours and contact your patient directly to make an appointment. In your referral letter, please ensure that Dr Robinson has enough information to triage your patient's referral appropriately, including the patient's primary complaint and diagnosis, as well as the name of the radiology clinic that performed any imaging related to this condition.

Who Does Dr Robinson See?
Whilst Dr Robinson's subspecialty interests are hip and knee, please feel free to refer all orthopaedic patients to Dr Robinson. If he is unable to manage a specific condition, Dr Robinson will happily on-refer your patient to an appropriately trained Orthopaedic Surgeon colleague to care for your patient.
Dr Robinson is currently accepting referrals for privately insured patients, patients covered by DVA, WorkCover or TAC, as well as publicly insured patients. Dr Robinson also has public appointments at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in Fitzroy, Box Hill Hospital in Box Hill, Maroondah Hospital in Ringwood East, and Latrobe Regional Hospital in Traralgon, and is able to facilitate appointments at these locations if surgery is indicated.
